More Information
Your matter
You’ve done the hard work. You’ve negotiated, drafted, and reached an agreement — and now there’s a document in front of you that is about to become legally binding.
This is not the moment to hope for the best.
Legal documents have consequences that aren’t always visible to someone without legal training — gaps in enforceability, terms that seem fair now but create problems later, rights you’ve unknowingly signed away. A single session of legal review before you sign can save years of difficulty after.
Legal Eyes is not about second-guessing your agreement. It’s about making sure the document actually says what you both intend — and that it will hold up when it matters.
What I review
- Consent Orders
- Parenting Plans
- Financial Agreements and property settlements
- Binding Financial Agreements (pre and post-nuptial)
- Drafted court documents before submission
You’ll receive clear, plain-language feedback — not a document covered in legal jargon. You’ll understand exactly what I found, why it matters, and what your options are.
Who this is for?
- Anyone who has drafted their own separation agreement and wants it checked before signing
- Self-represented parties about to submit documents to the Court
- Anyone who has reached an agreement with the other party but wants independent legal eyes before it’s formalised
- People who have been given a document by the other party’s lawyer and want to understand it properly before responding
Frequently Asked Questions
Will you change my agreement?
No — unless you ask me to. My role is to review and advise, not to redraft. If I identify something that needs changing, I’ll explain what it is and why, and you decide how to proceed.
How long does a review take?
Most reviews are turned around within 2 to 3 business days. If you have an urgent deadline, let me know when you book and I’ll do my best to accommodate it.
What if I need changes made after the review?
Redrafting or negotiating changes is available as a separate service. We can discuss that after the review if needed.
What if my document is complicated?
Complex matters are quoted individually — just get in touch with a brief description and I’ll give you a clear fee before we proceed. No surprises.
